C. Lamar Powell

C. Lamar Powell is a certified Advanced Linguist and Master Language Instructor from the Department of Defense's Foreign Language Institute. He has more than 24 years experience working for the Department of Defense as an Intelligence Officer, Russian interpreter, and translator. He has served as Chief of Recruiting and Marketing for a major U.S. Intelligence Organization. Lamar holds a degree in World Languages and Literature and is an award-winning poet whose career has led him to all four corners of the world. He now brings those professional and life experiences to you in a literary form. He is the owner and CEO of Carmel Coast Publishing Enterprises, President of Wealthy Sistas Publishing House, and the Founder of The Professional Black Writer and The Black Poets Circle.
